The tasting is sponsored by The National Wine Agency, a division of the Ministry of Agriculture
of the Republic of Georgia.

 

The Wine Agency is charged with raising awareness of Georgian wine and the country’s traditional methods of winemaking, restoring plantings of the country’s unique and rare grape varieties, promoting exports and wine tourism, and developing
a vineyard register for the different appellations.

The NWA works with and represents all of the country’s wine producers.

It also coordinates activities between grape growers and wine producers.
